sandylion.com is
owned and operated by Marnlen Management Ltd., doing business as Sandylion
Stickers Designs ("Sandylion"), located at 400 Cochrane Drive,
Markham, Ontario L3R 8E3. Sandylion is committed to protecting your
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we use and disclose the personal
information collected from you on the sandylion.com website. We
hope that this Privacy Policy will help increase your confidence in our
website.
What Personal Information Do We
Collect? The majority of the products and services on the
sandylion.com website are offered without collecting any personal
information from you. You can surf the sandylion.com website and
view much of our content anonymously. However, there are a few activities
on our website where we need to collect personal information from you such
as, if you wish to enter a contest, make a purchase, contact us or enroll
in the Sandylion Sticker Club. You will know when we collect personal
information because you will have to fill out a form. For these
activities, we collect only the minimal amount of personal information
necessary to provide you with the service. For example, with a contest, we
may only collect your name, e-mail address, age and gender. When you
request something to be sent to your home, such as newsletters or other
promotional offerings that may be made through the Sandylion Sticker Club,
we also collect your postal address.
How do we
use the personal information that we collect? Sandylion uses
personal information collected from you in the following ways.
Sandylion Sticker Club. We use your personal information to
enroll you in the Sandylion Sticker Club and to send you quarterly
mailings associated with the Club containing such things as stickers,
newsletters, a membership pin and a membership certificate.
Complete Transactions. We use your personal information to
complete transactions. For instance if you request a catalog from
Sandylion or you purchase a t-shirt, we use your personal information to
process your order. In addition, if you request our assistance, we will
use your personal information to contact you.
Contests. We
use your personal information to administer contests and to notify you if
you've won a contest.
Fan Mail. We often receive fan mail
from visitors to our website. Although it is our policy to not knowingly
communicate to children under 13 directly, we make it our policy to
respond to all fan mail and therefore, some email communications may be
sent to children. We retain email addresses long enough to respond and
thereafter the email addresses are deleted.
Companies Offering
Promotions, Products or Services. With your consent, Sandylion may
send you information about products, services and special promotions from
companies outside Sandylion that may be of interest to you. In this
instance, we do not share your name with third parties, rather we do the
mailing for them.
In the future, but only with your consent,
Sandylion may share your personal contact information with companies so
that they can communicate with you directly. Again, we will only share
your personal contact information if you have given us your consent.
Except in the limited circumstances as set out below, we do not share
personal information of children and teens with companies outside
Sandylion.
Protecting Children's Privacy - Under
13 At Sandylion, we recognize that kids who visit our
website require additional privacy protection. Any time a child under
thirteen enrolls in the Sandylion Sticker Club or in any other activity
where we collect personal information, we require the express consent of
the child's parent or legal guardian. To verify that the child has the
consent of the parent or legal guardian, we may send an e-mail
notification or a letter to the child's parent or legal guardian at the
e-mail or mailing address provided by the child on any enrollment form.
The only personal information we collect from children is their first
name, last name, gender, email and postal address, and child's birthdate.
We collect the child's birthdate to validate a member's age. We do not
knowingly communicate directly with a child under 13, and we allow parents
to access and update or delete their child's details. Please see below
under "Access to Your Personal Information".
Protecting Teens' Privacy - 13 to 17 Personal
information about guests who are teens is primarily collected and used in
the same manner as information about children under 13. The one difference
between kids and teens is that if a teen enrolls in an activity such as a
contest or the Sandylion Sticker Club, we will communicate directly with
the teen, while we never knowingly communicate directly to a child under
13.
How does Sandylion use personal information
collected from kids and teens? The information collected
about kids is used by Sandylion to provide a service such as the Sandylion
Sticker Club or to conduct a contest. Prize notifications and prizes are
sent to the parents' or guardians' e-mail or postal address provided
during the initial enrollment process. Publication of contest winners'
full names, ages, or images for children under 13 require parental or
guardian consent. Sometimes a non-identifiable version of a child's name
will be published. In those circumstances, parents may not be contacted
again for permission. No information collected from children is used for
any marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever, either inside or outside
Sandylion.
Information Passively Collected From
You with Technology As you surf the sandylion.com
website, certain anonymous information can be passively collected from you
using various technologies such as Internet Protocol ("IP")
addresses, cookies and navigational data collection (i.e. server logs).
The sandylion.com website uses this anonymous information passively
collected through technology to provide better service to our visitors by
making our website more interesting and useful to you. We will not combine

Transfer of Personal Information to Third

contractual or other means to require such third parties to protect your
personal information while it is in their possession and to restrict them
from using or disclosing it for any purpose other than as directed by us.

disclosed to parties connected with the contemplated or actual sale or
other disposal of all or part of Sandylion's business, including for the

attempt to maintain your privacy by providing the information in an
aggregate and thus anonymous format.
Other

obligations, such as a court order. If permitted by applicable laws and
regulations, we may also disclose personal information to enforce our
Terms of Use or to protect the safety and security of guests and our
website.
Controlling Our Collection and Use of
Personal Information As set out above, you can surf much of
our website without giving us any personal information. However, if we
collect personal information from you, for example, when you become a
member of the Sandylion Sticker Club, we will give you an opportunity to
limit communications from Sandylion and from our third party partners. At
any time thereafter, you can let us know that you wish to unsubscribe from
communications. In addition, there are ways to limit the information
passively collected through technology, although some of our website
features may not work if you reject cookies.
Security We use a variety of technical,
contractual, administrative and physical means to ensure that your
personal information is secure against loss, theft, unauthorized access,
disclosure, copying, use or modification. Only authorized employees and
agents of Sandylion are permitted access to your personal information.
Access to Your Personal Information
You have a right to make a written request to access any
personal information that we have on file and to request that any outdated
information be amended, updated or deleted. If you want to access or to
update the personal information you gave us during your Sticker Club
membership enrollment, please contact us in writing at the address set out
below. In addition, upon written request, and with proper identification,
parents and legal guardians may access personal information we have
collected about their child and request that it be amended, updated or
deleted. Please note that if we delete your child's information they may
not be able to participate in certain activities.
